Chinese Ambassador to Norway Zhou Jingxing Speaks at the Green Shipping Seminar

On October 20, Ambassador Zhou Jingxing attended the Green Shipping Seminar hosted by the Norwegian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. More than 60 participants, including representatives of chamber members and Norwegian shipowner companies attended the seminar.

In his remarks, Ambassador Zhou noted that China is committed to developing friendly relations and cooperation with all countries, and regards Norway as an important cooperation partner. The two sides share broad consensus on upholding international law and the international order and practicing multilateralism. The two economies are highly complementary, and the two sides should continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation in such fields as green transition and green shipping. China-Norway cooperation is in the fundamental interests of both countries and peoples and should not be disrupted or undermined by any third party. China is ready to maintain close communication with Norway, enhance mutual understanding, and further upgrade bilateral relations.

The participants spoke highly of China’s achievements in green transition, green shipping, shipbuilding and other fields, and expressed their willingness to further deepen cooperation with China.
